Role Overview

We are seeking a Murex Back Office Consultant with 4-8 years of experience in Capital Markets and Murex. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in Murex Back Office (MX BO), supporting trade processing, settlements, confirmations, accounting events, and operational workflows. The role involves working closely with Front Office, Operations, Finance, and Technology teams to deliver enhancements, support business-critical processes, and ensure smooth post-trade operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and support Murex Back Office functionalities and workflows.
- Analyze business requirements and provide functional and technical solutions.
- Support trade lifecycle processing, including confirmations, settlements, and accounting events.
- Monitor and resolve production issues related to Back Office operations.
- Perform impact analysis, testing, and deployment support for system changes.
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to implement enhancements.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, release management,



and production support activities.
- Support Murex upgrades, migration initiatives, and operational improvements.
- Maintain system documentation and ensure adherence to best practices.

Required Skills

- 4-8 years of experience in Murex implementation, development, or support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Murex Back Office (MX BO).
- Good understanding of trade lifecycle management and post-trade processing.
- Experience with settlements, confirmations, payments, accounting events, and reconciliations.
- Knowledge of capital markets products including FX, Money Markets, Fixed Income, and Derivatives.
- Experience with Murex workflows, interfaces, and batch processing.
- Good SQL and Unix/Linux skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in banking or financial services environments.
