The team

You will join a dedicated managed services team that provides Level 3 support, DevOps and continuous improvement for a large, business-critical Salesforce environment. The team supports Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, external APIs, a mobile application and third-party integrations. We own complex incident and problem management, enhancements, releases and continuous improvement, working alongside the client’s internal L1/L2 teams.

Role summary

We are looking for a React Native developer with Salesforce skills to own a production mobile app on iOS and Android. The app connects to Salesforce through a custom API that uses OAuth 2.0. You will own the whole mobile stack, from the app itself to the Salesforce API behind it.

That includes defect fixes, enhancements, OS compatibility, app store releases and developer account management. Between mobile releases, you will work on the wider Salesforce backlog, including API development, enhancements and defect fixes.

Key responsibilities

Mobile app development

- Fix defects, deliver enhancements and make ongoing improvements to a React Native app on iOS and Android.
- Build and refine screens, components and API-connected features that behave consistently across devices.
- Apply accessibility and usability best practices.

Salesforce API development

- Maintain and enhance custom Salesforce APIs (Apex REST, Connected Apps, OAuth 2.0), with a focus on reliable data exchange and performance.
- Support external-facing APIs, including defect fixes and onboarding new API consumers.




- Troubleshoot issues that span the mobile app and Salesforce end to end.

App store and platform management

- Manage submissions, version updates, metadata and compliance reviews for the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Administer the Apple Developer and Google Play Console accounts, including certificates, signing keys and access.
- Deliver OS compatibility updates and security patches, and keep React Native, SDKs and dependencies up to date.
- Monitor platform policy changes and act before they affect app availability.

Support, testing and release

- Resolve escalated mobile and API incidents within agreed service levels, and do root cause analysis on recurring issues.
- Work with QA on mobile test automation (Appium) and API performance testing (JMeter).
- Take part in sprint planning, change reviews, release readiness and post-release validation.

Salesforce backlog

- Between mobile releases, deliver Salesforce enhancements and fixes (Apex, LWC, Flow, configuration), including Experience Cloud UI work.

Required qualifications

- 4+ years of professional mobile development, including 3+ years with production React Native apps on iOS and Android.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React skills, plus enough native iOS and Android knowledge to build, sign and debug releases.
- Hands-on experience publishing and managing apps in the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- 2+ years of Salesforce development, including Apex REST services, Connected Apps and OAuth 2.0.
- Experience integrating mobile apps with REST APIs and troubleshooting authentication and data sync issues.
- Experience with Git-based source control, CI/CD and production support.




- Experience working in Agile/Scrum using Jira and Confluence.

Preferred qualifications

- Salesforce Platform Developer I (Platform Developer II is an asset).
- Experience with Lightning Web Components, Flow and Experience Cloud.
- Experience with Appium and JMeter.
- Knowledge of mobile security practices (for example OWASP MASVS).
- Public-sector or regulated-industry experience, including accessibility requirements.

How we work

- Hours: Standard business hours, Eastern Time (Monday to Friday). You may occasionally need to join escalations for high-priority incidents.
- Delivery model: Agile sprints with regular releases, Salesforce seasonal release cycles, and ITIL-aligned incident, problem and change management.
- Tools: Jira / Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket/Git, Postman and automated testing tools such as Provar, Appium, Zephyr and JMeter.
- Service levels: The work is measured against defined service levels for response, restoration and escalation.
- Knowledge sharing: The team keeps runbooks and knowledge base articles current and cross-trains, so knowledge is never held by one person.

Security and compliance requirements

- Must pass background screening before getting access to client environments.
- Must follow strict data-handling practices, including Canadian data residency, approval before accessing production or personal data, and no data on local or personal devices.
- Must work within enterprise security, privacy and accessibility standards (for example SOC 2, PCI, Canadian privacy legislation, and AODA / WCAG).

What success looks like

- The app stays available on both stores, with no lapses from expired certificates, accounts or policy issues.
- Platform updates ship on schedule, and the app is ready for recent iOS/Android versions before users get them.
- Mobile and API incidents are resolved within service levels, end to end, without hand-offs.
- Your capacity between releases shows up as steady progress on the Salesforce backlog.
