Job Summary

We are seeking for Merchandiser supports the merchandising team in managing end-to-end Home textile production. They track daily manufacturing operations, coordinate raw material logistics, and handle technical documentation to achieve on-time production delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Sampling &
- Product Development

- Review buyer tech-packs, design artworks, and measurement specifications.

- Coordinate the development of proto, fit, size-set, and pre-production (PP) Home tex and Made ups samples.

- Submit developed samples to buyers for official fit and design approvals.

- Sourcing &

- Material Procurement

- Calculate raw material consumption for fabrics, threads, buttons, and zippers.

- Place purchase orders with buyer-nominated or local textile suppliers.

- Track delivery timelines to ensure fabrics and trims arrive at the factory on time.

- Costing &

- Documentation

- Assist in preparing Home tex and Made ups cost sheets by calculating fabric, processing, and labour costs.

- Generate factory work orders, purchase orders, and daily tracking spreadsheets.

- Maintain organized databases of fabric test results, colour lab dips, and buyer feedback.

- Production Coordination

- Follow up daily with internal departments like Fabric, Trims Stores, Sewing and Finishing section.





- Follow Up Printing, Embroidery and Dyeing Units

- Monitor production status against the Time &

- Action (T&A;) industry calendar.

- Identify potential manufacturing bottle necks early and report issues to senior managers.

- Quality Control &

- Shipping Support

- Cross-verify final Product dimensions against original buyer measurement charts.

- Coordinate final Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) inspections with quality assurance teams.

- Prepare packaging lists, commercial invoices, and logistics documentation for shipment.

Required Skills &

- Qualifications

- Educational Background: A degree or diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production Management, Textile Technology, or a related business field.

- Technical Knowledge: Valuable understanding of home textile, made ups construction, woven/knitted fabric properties, printing procedures, and apparel manufacturing workflows.

- Software Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for maintaining data sheets, tracking orders, and cost calculations.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
