– MEP ESTIMATION ENGINEERRole

We are looking for an experienced MEP Estimation Engineer responsible for preparing accurate estimates, BOQs, quantity take-offs, costing and tender submissions for MEP/Electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Review tender documents, technical specifications, drawings and BOQs.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs for electrical and MEP works.
- Prepare accurate material, labour and project cost estimates.
- Analyze electrical and MEP drawings, layouts and SLDs for estimation.
- Prepare estimates for HT/LT systems, electrical panels, transformers, DG systems, cables, cable trays, busducts, lighting, earthing and other electrical works.
- Review MEP scope including HVAC, firefighting, plumbing and other services as required.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers/vendors and prepare comparative statements.
- Conduct rate analysis and evaluate material and installation costs.
- Identify scope gaps, exclusions, assumptions and cost implications in tender documents.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial tender estimates within deadlines.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project and commercial teams for technical and pricing inputs.




- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for quotations and technical clarifications.
- Prepare revised estimates based on drawing changes, client requirements and scope variations.
- Prepare estimates for additional works, variations and change orders.
- Maintain and update databases for material rates, labour rates and vendor quotations.
- Support project teams with budget preparation and cost control after project award.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and provide estimation-related inputs and clarifications.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all estimation and costing documents.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of MEP/Electrical estimation and costing.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and MEP drawings.
- Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying and rate analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD for drawing review and quantity take-off.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under tight tender deadlines.
- Good coordination, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to independently prepare estimates from tender documents.
