- Listen to recorded patient encounters and accurately document the History of Present Illness, Physical Examination, Results, and Assessment & Plan.
- Capture relevant medical history, medications, investigations, and follow-up instructions as stated by the provider.
- Enter and organize clinical documentation directly in the EHR, following practice guidelines and workflows.
- Review notes for accuracy, completeness, grammar, and consistency before submitting them for provider review.
- Identify unclear or missing information and seek clarification without adding unsupported clinical details.
- Meet documentation quality standards and turnaround times.
- Incorporate feedback from providers and managers to improve documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

- Previous experience as a medical scribe,



medical transcriptionist, or clinical documentation specialist.
- Experience in cardiology or familiarity with cardiovascular terminology, common conditions, and diagnostic tests.

Familiarity with EHR systems; experience with eClinicalWorks, Epic, Cerner, or athenahealth is preferred We are seeking a detail-oriented Virtual Medical Scribe to support our cardiology practice remotely.
