Role Description This is a full-time, in office Mechanical Sales & Marketing Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The role involves promoting Jergens India’s workholding, fastening, and lifting solutions to existing and prospective customers through technical presentations, product demonstrations, and site visits.

The Mechanical

Sales & Marketing Engineer will identify customer requirements, provide technical recommendations, prepare quotations, and follow up on sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with internal engineering and operations teams, supporting installation and basic application-related queries, and maintaining accurate records in CRM and reporting tools.



The role also includes contributing to marketing activities such as trade shows, seminars, digital campaigns, and technical content to expand market presence.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge, with the ability to understand and explain industrial and machine-tool applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance and Inspection to support customers with product selection, basic troubleshooting, and quality assurance discussions.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to interpret technical drawings, prepare simple layouts, and communicate design-related requirements.
- Candidates should possess understanding of Automotive or related manufacturing sectors to engage effectively with industry-specific customers.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build long-term customer relationships.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and travel as required within the region.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, CRM tools, and report preparation; prior sales or application engineering experience in industrial products is an advantage.
