Job Summary

Enerzolve Smart Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Drafter to prepare accurate 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models for mechanical components, sheet metal enclosures, and industrial products. The candidate will work closely with the mechanical design and manufacturing teams to ensure drawings meet design requirements and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D manufacturing and fabrication drawings using SolidWorks, AutoCAD software.
- Create and modify 3D models, sheet metal parts, and mechanical assemblies.
- Generate detailed drawings with dimensions, tolerances, GD&T;, and material specifications.
- Prepare sheet metal flat patterns, bend details, and fabrication drawings.
- Create and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) and engineering documentation.
- Ensure drawings comply with manufacturing requirements and company standards.
- Coordinate with fabrication vendors and production teams to resolve drawing-related issues.
- Revise drawings based on design changes and engineering feedback.
- Support prototype development, assembly, and inspection activities.





Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in mechanical drafting or design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of sheet metal design, bending, and fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, engineering drawings, and dimensional tolerances.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and prepare manufacturing-ready documentation.
- Basic understanding of machining, welding, laser cutting, and fabrication processes.
- Valuable communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in industrial enclosures, electrical panels, or power electronics products.
- Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly).
- Experience with BOM preparation and vendor coordination.
- Familiarity with ISO and ASME drawing standards.
