At DeployNXT, we’re building hardware that moves from CAD to the real world — and we’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team.
If you enjoy designing complex mechanical systems, working with SolidWorks, FEA, GD&T;, spacecraft structures, and real-world hardware integration, this could be a outstanding opportunity.
? What you’ll work on
- Design and develop mechanical structures & assemblies using SolidWorks
- Perform FEA — structural, modal, buckling & vibration analysis
- Work on tolerance stack-ups & GD&T; (ASME Y14.5)
- Design and integrate wire harnesses and mechanical supports
- Support spacecraft/vehicle integration and qualification testing
- Work with vendors on manufacturing, inspection & hardware delivery
- Take ownership of mechanical subassemblies from design → analysis → integration → testing
? What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in mechanical/aerospace structural design
- Strong SolidWorks skills
- Experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus or equivalent
- Understanding of composites, sandwich panels & high-temperature materials
- Experience with tolerance analysis and GD&T;
- Exposure to hardware integration and environmental testing
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
⭐ Bonus if you have
Experience with spacecraft structures, harness routing, qualification testing, strain-relief design, or taking assemblies from concept all the way to hardware.
