We are looking for an experienced and passionate IBDP Mathematics Facilitator to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, inquiry-based Mathematics instruction aligned with the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) framework, supporting students in developing conceptual understanding, critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver high-quality IBDP Mathematics lessons aligned with IB curriculum requirements.
- Facilitate inquiry-based, student-centred learning and encourage mathematical exploration.
- Teach and support relevant IBDP Mathematics pathways, such as Analysis & Approaches (AA) and/or Applications & Interpretation (AI).
- Develop lesson plans, learning resources, assessments, assignments, and revision materials.
- Prepare students effectively for IBDP internal and external assessments.
- Guide students in completing their Mathematics Internal Assessment (IA).
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive academic feedback.
- Use differentiated teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Integrate technology, mathematical modelling, real-world applications, and appropriate digital tools into teaching.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, assessment, and academic progress.
- Collaborate with other subject teachers and the IB academic team for interdisciplinary learning.
- Participate in department meetings, curriculum planning, professional development, parent meetings, and school events.
- Support students with university preparation and academic guidance where required.
- Stay updated with IB curriculum changes, assessment requirements,



and best practices in Mathematics education.

Qualifications
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed./M.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the IBDP Mathematics curriculum.
- Previous experience teaching IBDP Mathematics is highly preferred.
- IB Mathematics Category 1/2/3 training will be an advantage.
- Minimum 25 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an IB/International School environment.

Preferred Experience
- Experience preparing students for IBDP Mathematics examinations.
- Experience mentoring students on Mathematics Internal Assessments (IA).
- Familiarity with IB ManageBac or similar academic platforms.
- Experience with CAS, TOK, and interdisciplinary learning within the IB environment is an advantage.
