Role Description This is a full time, on-site Mathematics Teacher role based in Agartala.

The Mathematics

Teacher will deliver concept-based classroom teaching aligned with AESL’s curriculum for school-level and competitive exam preparation.

Responsibilities include planning and structuring lessons, preparing teaching materials,



and using a variety of instructional methods to support diverse learning needs. The role involves assessing student performance through tests and assignments, providing regular feedback, and supporting students in exam preparation strategies.

The Mathematics

Teacher will also participate in academic planning, faculty meetings, and training sessions to align with institutional standards and continuously improve teaching practices.

Qualifications

- Strong subject knowledge and expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education.
- Demonstrated ability in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development for school and test-prep contexts.
- Background as a Qualified Teacher, with relevant teaching certifications or licensure.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
- Experience teaching students preparing for NEET, JEE, or other competitive examinations is an advantage.
- Effective classroom management, communication, and student mentoring skills.
- Comfort with using educational technology and digital tools to enhance learning.
- Ability to collaborate with academic teams and adapt to structured teaching methodologies.
