JD for SAP Core team Member-Data Governance

1. Purpose:

- This position is responsible for the accurate and timely creation and maintenance of master data within SAP S/4HANA, as well as supporting procurement operations through the release of Purchase Orders (PO) and Scheduling Agreements (SA). The role upholds data integrity, ensures adherence to procurement policies, and facilitates efficient purchasing processes. This person is also a L0,L1,L2 ticket coordinator

2. Key Responsibilities A. Master Data Management
- Establish and maintain Vendor Master Data,Material Master ,Customer Master,Asset Master Data ,GL Master,Cost Centre in SAP S/4HANA.
- Collaborate with procurement and planning teams to manage inputs needed for Material Master Data., Vendor Master Data
- Oversee Purchasing Info Records and Source Lists.
- Administer pricing conditions and procurement-related master data.
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards and approval workflows.
- Conduct regular master data audits and cleansing initiatives.

B. Procurement Transaction Processing
- Review and authorize Purchase Orders (PO), in SAP according to the approval matrix.
- Examine and approve Scheduling Agreements and associated amendments.
- Verify accuracy of pricing, delivery schedules, vendor information, and tax parameters.
- Monitor system alerts and exceptions related to procurement documentation.

C. System Compliance & Governance
- Adhere to internal procurement policies and approval hierarchies.
- Validate data accuracy prior to releasing procurement documents.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails for all transactions.

D. Coordination & Support
- Coordinate activities with Sales, Quality ,procurement, finance, planning, and IT/SAP support teams.




- Resolve issues arising from master data errors or incorrect procurement transactions.
- Assign and monitor tickets around SNOW system

- Key Skills & Competencies

Functional Skills

- Proficient knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) module.
- Understanding of the full lifecycle of Purchase Orders and Scheduling Agreements.
- Familiarity with Vendor Master and Material Master,Customer Master ,Tax Master,GL Master data structures, Asset Master,Tax Master, Equipment Master Data Structu
- Solid knowledge how Production Process works in SAP
- Expertise in procurement workflows and approval processes.
- Hands on knowledge of working with any ticketing system
- Should have over all knowledge of different SAP Modules like MM,PP,QM,SD,FICO,PM

Technical Skills
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.
- Knowledge of master data governance concepts.
- Comprehension of SAP transaction workflows and validation procedures.

4. Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, /Supply Chain, Commerce, or Management. SAP MM certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Experience

Three to seven years of experience in SAP procurement operations, master data management, and purchase order processing . Previous experience in manufacturing or steel industry procurement environments is highly desirable. Previous experience in SAP User support is necessary
