We're looking for a detail-oriented Marketing Quality Assurance Specialist to serve as the final checkpoint before campaigns go live rigorously testing and validating email and SMS campaigns to catch errors before they reach customers and protect deliverability. This is a remote role based in India supporting a distributed, global marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute quality assurance for email and SMS campaigns prior to send, validating all URLs/links (destination accuracy, UTM parameters, redirects, broken links)
- Quality assurance for both desktop and mobile views of emails, confirming layout, responsiveness, and readability render correctly on each
- Review message labels, message types, and audience list/segmentation accuracy to confirm the right message reaches the right list
- Perform rendering and functionality checks across major email clients, browsers, and mobile devices (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, Yahoo)
- Lead quality control processes and monitor deliverability across various email servers/ISPs; flag spam-trigger issues, authentication errors (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), and blacklisting risks
- Use project management software to track campaign status, understand role/responsibilities on each project, and manage quality assurance timelines against launch dates
- Take full ownership of the auality assurance process end-to-end; maintain and improve QA checklists, documentation, and testing protocols
- Clearly communicate when and where quality assurance processes need improvement, including specific,



actionable recommendations

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience performing quality assurance for email and SMS marketing campaigns, including full URL and link verification.
- Experience evaluating email responsiveness and layout formatting across both desktop and mobile views to eliminate rendering issues.
- Experience auditing message labels, content types, and target audience data/segmentation accuracy.
- Experience monitoring deliverability across major email clients and servers, with a strong ability to troubleshoot technical delivery and rendering issues.
- Hands-on experience with email marketing/ESP platforms (Iterable or similar)
- Experience working within project management software (Asana, Jira or similar) to track tasks, timelines, and responsibilities
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; able to identify root causes, not just symptoms
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while meeting deadlines
- Highly detail-oriented with a proven ability to catch small errors others miss
- Robust sense of ownership and accountability for the quality assurance process and its outcomes
- Excellent written English communication skills, including the ability to flag process gaps and propose concrete improvements

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with email testing tools (Litmus, Email on Acid); understanding of SPF/DKIM/DMARC; experience in quality assurance for multi-region/localized campaigns; basic HTML/CSS knowledge as it relates to email rendering; experience building quality assurance checklists/SOPs.
