We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Marketing Manager to develop new industrial customers and generate business opportunities in Chennai, Pondicherry and surrounding industrial areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new B2B and industrial customers for fabrication and engineering job work.
- Identify and approach MNCs, manufacturing companies, factories, EPC companies, contractors and industrial clients.
- Generate enquiries, RFQs and new business opportunities.
- Conduct customer visits and develop long-term customer relationships.
- Handle enquiry → quotation → negotiation → order conversion.
- Develop new customers across Chennai & Pondicherry.
- Identify vendor registration opportunities with MNCs and large companies.
- Follow up with existing and prospective customers.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning and Management teams.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales/order targets.
- Maintain customer database and submit regular sales reports.
Candidate Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in Industrial Marketing / B2B Sales / Business Development.
- Experience in Fabrication / Welding / Manufacturing / Engineering / PEB / Industrial Job Work preferred.
- Proven experience in generating industrial enquiries and orders.
- Existing industrial customer contacts will be an added advantage.
- Robust communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits.
- Target-oriented and capable of independently developing current business.
Important Digital Marketing / Social Media Marketing profiles are not required.
Preference will be given to candidates with industrial B2B sales experience, strong customer contacts and proven order-generation track record.
Compensation
Salary: Negotiable based on experience and capability
