Role overview

We are looking for a Market Research Intern to research opportunities in the industrial automation projects market and analyse competing Industry 4.0 software products. The intern will turn research into clear reports that help our teams select target industries, identify potential customers, and position our solutions.

Key responsibilities

- Research the industrial automation projects market across target industries, customer segments, and geographies.
- Identify potential customers, upcoming projects, market trends, and relevant technology or implementation partners.
- Analyse competitors’ Industry 4.0 software products, including their features, target customers, use cases, positioning, and publicly available pricing information.
- Compare solutions in areas such as manufacturing analytics, reporting and dashboards, intelligent asset management, predictive maintenance, and AI applications.
- Prepare competitor comparison matrices, customer profiles, market maps, and opportunity shortlists.
- Gather information from credible public sources and document the source and date of key findings.




- Present concise weekly updates and recommendations to the business development and product teams.

Candidate requirements

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Robust research, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Ability to organise findings in Excel or Google Sheets and prepare clear PowerPoint presentations or reports.
- Interest in manufacturing, industrial automation, and software products.
- Ability to distinguish verified information from assumptions and communicate research limitations clearly.
