VM Ornaments is looking for a Manual Jewellery Designer who understands the language of fine Indian jewellery and has a genuine passion for Kundan, Jadau and Open-Setting Polki Diamond jewellery.

We are looking for someone who can combine strong technical knowledge of jewellery manufacturing with a natural sense of design, proportion and creativity.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Create detailed hand sketches and jewellery concepts for new collections and custom pieces.
- Develop designs in Kundan, Jadau, Open-Setting Polki and contemporary traditional jewellery.
- Translate creative ideas into designs that are practical and technically feasible for manufacturing.
- Work closely with karigars and the production team to understand construction, setting, proportions and finishing.
- Modify and refine designs based on manufacturing requirements while maintaining the original design intent.
- Experiment with new forms, compositions, detailing and design variations rather than simply following existing patterns.
- Contribute creatively to the development of new jewellery styles and product categories.

What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience as a manual jewellery designer.
- Strong practical understanding of jewellery manufacturing and construction.
- Excellent knowledge of Kundan, Jadau and Open-Setting Polki jewellery.
- A natural eye for Indian jewellery aesthetics, proportions, detailing and craftsmanship.
- Strong hand-sketching and design development skills.
- Someone who enjoys playing with ideas, exploring variations and creating something different.




- Ability to understand what will work on paper as well as on the manufacturing floor.
- Good communication and coordination skills with production teams and karigars.
- A proactive and curious approach towards learning, experimenting and creating.
