Job Summary

We have an urgent opening for the position of Manager-Taxation in one of the leading NBFC .

Responsibilities

- Ensure timely deduction and deposit of TDS.

- Preparation, review, and filing of TDS returns.

- Manage advance tax and income tax compliances.

- Liaise with consultants and tax authorities for assessments and audits.

- Advisory on withholding tax applicability across vendors/transactions

- Ensure compliance with GST laws including filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, and reconciliations.

- Review GST input credit, vendor reconciliations, and ensure accuracy in reporting.

- Advisory on GST implications for NBFC-specific transactions.

- Handle GST audits, assessments, and notices.

- Implement internal checks and controls for tax-related processes.

- Evaluate tax impact on business decisions, contracts, and current initiatives.

- Keep abreast of latest amendments and ensure timely alignment of processes.

- Support statutory and internal auditors with respect to tax-related matters.

- Partner with business, operations, and accounts payable teams to ensure proper invoicing, documentation, and tax compliance.

- Provide training/guidance to internal teams on tax matters.
