AMPIN Energy Transition is seeking an experienced HSE/OHS professional to lead safety excellence across our nationwide C&I; rooftop solar portfolio. The role requires strong technical capability, hands‑on project exposure, and the ability to drive HSE & ESG compliance across multi‑location operations.

Essential Technical Knowledge

Rooftop Solar Design | PV Systems | DC/AC Systems | Electrical Safety | Inverters | Earthing & Lightning Protection | Work at Height | Fall Protection | Roof Access | Fire Safety | Lifting & Material Handling | Commissioning | Solar O&M; | ESG & Sustainability

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead HSE for Pan‑India Rooftop Solar projects across EPC, construction, commissioning and O&M.;
- Provide technical HSE inputs during design & engineering, including access planning, structural/load considerations, fall protection, electrical safety and fire safety.
- Drive implementation of HIRA/JSA, PTW, LOTO, Work at Height, Electrical Safety, Emergency Response and Contractor HSE Management.
- Review rooftop solar designs to identify safety risks and promote Safety‑by‑Design principles.
- Conduct site inspections, HSE audits, incident investigations and ensure timely corrective‑action closure.
- Develop, standardise and implement HSE standards, SOPs, checklists and controls across all projects.
- Ensure compliance with Investor/Lender requirements,



IFC/ADB standards, ESG frameworks and statutory HSE regulations.
- Support Investor/Lender due diligence, ESG assessments, audits, evidence preparation, reporting and action‑tracker management.
- Monitor ESAP/ESMP implementation, environmental & social risks, stakeholder engagement, grievance management and labour/welfare compliance.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Projects, EPC, O&M;, ESG and Corporate/Regional teams to ensure alignment with HSE/ESG requirements.
- Track HSE & ESG KPIs, compliance status, audit findings and management reporting.
- Conduct capacity‑building sessions, competency checks and influence senior management on HSE excellence.
- Travel extensively across India for audits, site visits, implementation support and investor/lender assessments.

Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- 8-12 years of experience in relevant field
- NEBOSH / IOSH / ISO 45001 or equivalent HSE certification preferred
