Equalifi Foundation is the social impact arm of Equalifi, India’s leading membership network for financial services professionals. We believe that financial knowledge is a fundamental right, not a privilege. Our mission is to democratize access to financial education, empower underserved communities with investment literacy, and build a more inclusive financial ecosystem for India’s next generation.

Our key focus areas include:

- Financial Literacy: Bringing practical money management and investment education to schools, colleges, and rural communities.
- Financial Inclusion: Enabling access to formal financial services for low-income households and first-generation investors.

Role OverviewAs the first employee of Equalifi Foundation, you will be the architect and engine of our social impact strategy. You will design, launch, and scale programs that align with our mission while building partnerships with CSR donors, implementation NGOs, and government stakeholders.

This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role reporting directly to the Founder/Board of Equalifi Foundation. You will have the unique opportunity to build the foundation’s operations from the ground up and shape its impact narrative for years to come.

Key Responsibilities1.

Program

Design & Implementation

- Design and launch flagship programs in financial literacy, skill building, and women’s empowerment (e.g., school modules, certification scholarships, rural workshops).
- Develop curriculum frameworks, training materials, and impact measurement tools in collaboration with Equalifi’s content team.
- Pilot programs in 3–5 cities in Year 1, with a roadmap to scale to 20+ cities by Year 3.
- Ensure programs are cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)



and BRSR (Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report) frameworks.

2. Fundraising & CSR Partnerships
- Identify and pitch to corporate CSR committees (BFSI, fintech, tech sectors) for funding and strategic partnerships.
- Draft concept notes, proposals, and impact reports for potential donors (e.g., KFin, BSE, NSE, mutual fund houses).
- Negotiate MOUs and partnership agreements with CSR donors, ensuring alignment on objectives, budgets, and reporting.
- Explore grant opportunities from foundations (e.g., Azim Premji, Tata Trusts) and government schemes (e.g., PMKVY, NSDC).

Implementation

Partnerships
- Identify and onboard NGOs, schools, colleges, and skill development partners for program delivery.
- Conduct due diligence on partners (financial, operational, compliance) and manage ongoing relationships.
- Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and certification drives across multiple geographies.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to program standards across all implementation sites.

Impact

Measurement & Reporting
- Design monitoring & evaluation (M&E;) frameworks to track program outcomes (e.g., financial literacy scores, job placements, women enrolled).
- Collect and analyze data from field teams, partners, and beneficiaries.
- Prepare quarterly and annual impact reports for donors, board members, and public disclosures.
- Document case studies, testimonials, and success stories for marketing and fundraising.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

- Bachelor’s degree required (any discipline).
- Master’s degree or PG Diploma in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, or CSR Management (preferred).
- Certifications in Impact Measurement, CSR, or Project Management (e.g., PMD, PRINCE2) are a plus.

Experience
- 2–7 years of experience in CSR,



social impact, development sector, or foundation management.
- Prior experience in financial literacy, financial inclusion, or skill development programs is highly preferred.
- Experience working with corporate CSR teams, NGOs, or government bodies is essential.
- Track record of designing and launching programs from scratch (startup mindset required).

Skills & Competencies
- Program Management: Ability to manage multiple projects across geographies with limited resources.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and negotiation skills for interacting with CSR heads, NGO partners, and government officials.
- Data & Impact: Comfortable with data collection, analysis, and creating impact dashboards/reports.
- Fundraising: Experience writing concept notes, proposals, and pitching to donors.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Ketto, Milaap).
- Travel: Willingness to travel 25–30% of the time to project sites (Tier 2/3 cities, rural areas).
