Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Manager – New Product Development (NPD) to drive vendor development, supplier sourcing, and cost optimization for recent product initiatives. The role requires strong expertise in manufacturing processes, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead vendor development & supplier sourcing for new product requirements
- Manage RFQs, pricing negotiations, and drive cost optimization initiatives
- Conduct supplier evaluation, capability assessment & RFQ analysis
- Interpret engineering drawings and ensure adherence to PPAP & APQP requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D;, Quality, Procurement) to resolve supplier queries
- Drive on-time development and ensure supplier readiness for production
- Work on costing across Machining,



Forging, Plastics, Sheet Metal & Rubber components
- Identify and onboard new suppliers to strengthen the supply chain

Desired Candidate Profile
- B.Tech / BE (Engineering) – Mandatory
- Strong experience in vendor development, supplier management & costing
- Valuable understanding of manufacturing processes & raw materials
- Hands-on exposure to RFQ handling, negotiations & cost analysis
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, and quality standards
- Excellent communication, negotiation & stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, self-driven, and a strong team player
