About BIDCC

BIDCC is a Patna-based non-profit organization working closely with industry members, government departments, and stakeholders to promote industrial growth and policy advocacy in Bihar.

Role Objective

To act as a key liaison between BIDCC members, government departments, and internal teams to ensure smooth coordination, member engagement, and execution of government-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Member Coordination & Engagement:
- Manage end-to-end relationship with BIDCC members - onboarding, retention, grievance handling.
- Organize member meetings, roundtables, and networking events.
- Government Liaison:
- Coordinate with various State & Central Government departments for policy matters, approvals, and representations.
- Track government policies, schemes, and tenders relevant to members.
- Business Development & Advocacy:




- Support in advocacy efforts and preparation of representations, white papers, and MoMs.
- Facilitate government-business interactions.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain MIS, member database, and prepare periodic reports for senior management.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- MBA / Engineer preferred (B.Tech MBA will be an added advantage)
- 6-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Chamber of Commerce, Industry Association, Non-Profit, Consulting firm, or handling Government Business / Liaisoning.
- Prior experience of working with Government departments is mandatory.

Key Skills

- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills (English & Hindi)
- Solid stakeholder management and networking abilities
- Good understanding of Bihar's industrial ecosystem
- Proficiency in MS Office, presentation and report writing
