Role Description The Manager – Finance and Accounts is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing financial operations and accounting activities across Microscan’s business units. This role includes managing general ledger entries, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring, while ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.

The manager will supervise the accounts team, review reconciliations, manage payables and receivables, and coordinate audits with internal and external stakeholders. Daily responsibilities also involve supporting business units with financial analysis, improving financial processes and controls,



and collaborating with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and cost allocation. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting strategic financial decision-making.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Finance skills, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Candidates should possess solid Account Management skills, including handling payables and receivables, ledger management, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess effective Customer Service skills, with the ability to support internal stakeholders and respond professionally to external partners and auditors.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related financial skills, such as revenue tracking, margin analysis, and coordination with sales teams for accurate financial data.
- Candidates should possess proven Team Management skills, including supervising staff, delegating tasks, coaching team members, and driving process improvements.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; skilled certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work on-site in Mumbai and collaborate across functions.
