Production

Planning & Execution

- Plan daily and weekly cutting activities based on the production plan and sewing-line requirements.

- Ensure timely availability of cut components as per the production schedule.

- Coordinate with Planning, Stores, Merchandising, IE, Production and Quality departments.

- Prepare and monitor cutting plans according to style, order quantity, fabric type and delivery requirement.

- Prioritize urgent orders and ensure minimum production disruption.

B.

Fabric

Receiving & Inspection

- Coordinate with Fabric Stores for receipt and issue of fabric for cutting.

- Ensure fabric is checked for shade, width, GSM, defects, shrinkage and quantity before cutting.

- Ensure fabric relaxation is carried out as per fabric/customer requirements.

- Maintain fabric roll-wise traceability.

- Coordinate with Quality for fabric inspection and approval before cutting.

C.

Fabric

Spreading

- Control spreading activities to achieve optimum fabric utilization.

- Ensure correct lay length, ply height, fabric direction, face-up/face-down and shade grouping.

- Ensure proper handling of stripes, checks, prints, nap fabrics and directional fabrics.

- Monitor spreading defects and take corrective action.





- Ensure proper roll allocation to avoid shade variation within garments.

D.

Cutting

Operations

- Supervise cutting operations using appropriate cutting machines such as:

- Straight Knife Cutting Machine

- Band Knife

- Round Knife

- Automatic / CNC Cutting Machine, where applicable

- Die Cutting / Special Cutting Machines, where applicable

- Ensure cutting is carried out strictly according to approved markers and patterns.

- Maintain cutting accuracy and prevent component mismatch.

- Ensure correct notches, drill holes, numbering and identification marks.

- Monitor cutting quality and minimize re-cutting.

E. Marker & Fabric Utilization

- Work closely with CAD/Marker Planning and Costing/IE teams to improve marker efficiency.

- Monitor marker utilization against approved standards.

- Identify fabric wastage and implement corrective actions.

- Analyze end-bit, end-loss and cutting wastage.

- Maintain style-wise fabric consumption and utilization records.

- Drive continuous improvement in fabric utilization.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
