Role Description The Dyeing Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cuddalore.

The Dyeing

Manager will oversee daily dyeing operations, including planning production schedules, supervising the dyeing team, and ensuring optimal use of machinery and resources.

Responsibilities include monitoring dyeing processes for quality and consistency, managing shade development and shade matching, and maintaining accurate production records. The role involves coordinating with pre-treatment, printing, and finishing departments to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to delivery timelines.

The Dyeing

Manager will also enforce safety and environmental compliance,



drive process improvements, and collaborate with senior management on cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Robust expertise in dyeing operations, shade development, shade matching, and color management for woven fabrics.
- Experience with continuous and exhaust dyeing machines, process parameters, and optimization of production efficiency.
- Knowledge of different dyes and chemicals, textile fibers, and their behavior under various processing conditions.
- Proficiency in quality control procedures, root-cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Skills in production planning, workflow coordination, and inventory management for dyes, auxiliaries, and consumables.
- Capability to lead and train operational staff, foster a safety-focused culture, and manage cross-functional communication.
- Understanding of environmental and compliance standards, including wastewater management and sustainability practices.
- Diploma or degree in Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry, or a related field; prior experience as a Dyeing Manager or in a senior dyeing role is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, along with effective verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work on-site in Cuddalore and adapt to a dynamic, production-driven environment.
