Role Summary The Thermal Systems Engineer will be responsible for the CFD analysis of thermal management systems for electric buses and Trucks. This includes Battery Cooling Systems (BCS), cabin cooling and Traction Cooling airflow/ coolant simulations. The role requires a robust combination of analytical, CFD skills to ensure system performance across Indian climatic and duty cycle conditions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Battery Cooling System (BCS)
- Coolant flow/ pressure estimation for coolant hoses
- Airflow analysis for inlet and outlet ducts/grills
- Coolant flow analysis for battery cooling plate
2. Cabin Thermal & Ventilation Systems
- Airflow analysis for bus/truck cabin
3. Traction Cooling System
- Coolant flow/ pressure estimation for coolant hoses
- Airflow analysis for inlet and outlet ducts/grills
Key Competencies/Skills
System level
