ITAAN Pharma is looking for an experienced Manager / Assistant Manager – Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) to support our growing pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Hyderabad.
This role will establish and maintain a strong EHS program while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead the site EHS program for sterile injectable operations.
-Ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety, fire, environmental and statutory requirements and maintain site EHS compliance.
-Conduct risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities.
-Support protected operation of equipment and utilities.
-Establish appropriate controls for handling, storage,
and exposure, including SDS management and PPE requirements
-Manage contractor and vendor EHS programs
-Develop and deliver EHS training
-Work closely with CFT to integrate EHS into operations without compromising GMP requirements.
-Ensure EHS procedures, records, and training documentation are maintained.
-Support regulatory, customer, certification and corporate audits.
-Promote a proactive safety culture.
