Role Description The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. This role is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on laboratory and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting machinery, diagnosing issues, conducting repairs, and completing preventive maintenance schedules.

The technician will document maintenance activities, coordinate with vendors or service providers when needed, and support the setup and calibration of equipment used for research and data analysis workflows.



The role also involves adhering to safety protocols, assisting with facility upkeep, and collaborating with team members to minimize downtime and maintain a consistent working setting.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform hands-on Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair on laboratory and facility systems.
- Strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical, electrical, or operational issues efficiently.
- Experience implementing Preventive Maintenance programs to reduce equipment failure and downtime.
- Background in Industrial Maintenance or similar technical maintenance environments.
- Relevant technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance; bachelor’s degree in a related field is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of safety standards, tools, and procedures in laboratory or industrial settings.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to respond to urgent maintenance needs.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
