Position Title : Manager Maintenance

Reporting To : Business head

Job Overview:

- The Manager Maintenance will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of a meat processing facility. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in HVAC systems, Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM), 5S, OHSAS, and safety, as well as experience managing maintenance teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Key Responsibility Areas of Manager Maintenance

- Oversee the maintenance of all equipment, machinery, and facilities in the meat processing plant.
- Ensure that all maintenance procedures are performed in compliance with company policies, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Implement Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) programs to enhance equipment reliability and optimize maintenance activities.
- Promote and maintain a safe and clean workplace, following 5S principles and OHSAS safety standards.
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring their progress.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce the frequency of equipment failures and prolong equipment lifespan.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and spare parts inventory.
- Collaborate with production and quality control teams to identify and resolve issues affecting production efficiency.




- Train maintenance technicians in proper repair techniques and safety procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors for equipment repair and replacement services.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in maintenance technology and techniques and recommend and implement improvements where necessary.
- Always maintain a positive and proactive attitude and seek to improve and advance his skill set and performance.
- Essentially following all health and safety procedures,
- To plan & and be prepared for Internal and External Audits, Food Safety Audits to enforce proper SOP, documentation, GMP and GHP.

Key Requirements of Assistant Manager Production

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM), 5S, OHSAS, and safety principles
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of HACCP, TPM, 5S, FSSC 22000 and FSMA regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Maintenance softwareRole & responsibilities
