- Key Responsibilities
- Define and design enterprise Mainframe architecture and solutions
- Lead Mainframe application modernization migration and transformation initiatives
- Provide technical leadership for COBOL CICS DB2 JCL and VSAM based applications
- Review architecture application design and development standards
- Drive performance tuning scalability and system optimization activities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and propose technology solutions
- Lead technical discussions code reviews and architectural governance
- Support application integration with distributed systems APIs and cloud platforms
- Ensure security compliance high availability and disaster recovery standards
- Mentor development and support teams on Mainframe best practices
- Manage production support escalations and critical issue resolution
- Prepare architecture documents technical roadmaps and solution blueprints
- Minimum Qualifications
- 9 to 15 years of experience in Mainframe technologies
- Strong expertise in COBOL JCL CICS DB2 and VSAM
- Experience in application architecture design and solution development
- Robust understanding of Mainframe infrastructure and batch processing environments
- Experience with SDLC Agile methodologies and architecture frameworks
- Proven experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience leading technical teams and architect level engagements
