Role Description The Machine Shop Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for overseeing day-to-day machining operations and ensuring protected, efficient, and high-quality production. This role involves planning and managing production schedules, allocating resources, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet delivery and performance targets.

The manager will supervise machinists and operators, monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives in line with company standards.





Key responsibilities include enforcing quality and inspection procedures, maintaining shop-floor documentation, and ensuring adherence to safety, maintenance, and compliance requirements.

The Machine Shop

Manager will also support customer requirements, liaise with engineering and quality teams, and contribute to process optimization and cost control.

Qualifications

- Strong production planning and production management skills to organize workflows, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Hands-on experience in machining operations, CNC and conventional machines, and shop-floor tooling and fixturing.
- Solid background in quality management and inspection, including use of measuring instruments and interpretation of technical drawings.
- Experience leading shop-floor teams, with the ability to train, mentor, and manage performance in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of safety, maintenance, and lean or continuous improvement practices within a machine shop setting.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, work with tolerances, and collaborate with engineering and production teams.
- Relevant technical qualification such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field.
- Prior experience in precision machining or aerospace/industrial manufacturing environments is an advantage.
