Role Overview

Our client, a leading global FMCG organization, is looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Logistics Functional Lead with strong expertise in EWM and TM to support a major S/4HANA transformation program in India.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead As-Is process mapping for Warehouse Management and Transportation Management across India sites and distribution centres.
- Design the migration path from Centralized WM (CWM) to Embedded S/4HANA EWM.
- Lead migration from SAP TMS to S/4HANA Advanced Transportation Management (TM).
- Configure EWM core functionalities including:
- Warehouse structure
- Goods movement
- Inventory management
- RF transactions
- Fiori-based warehouse transactions

- Design freight collaboration solutions using SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN).
- Drive data quality assessment for logistics master data.
- Coordinate with 3PL partners and logistics service providers during system transitions.
- Support end-to-end logistics transformation and implementation activities.

Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 10 years of overall experience with 8–12 years of SAP functional experience.
- Strong expertise in SAP WM, EWM and TM.
- 7–9 years of Logistics Operations experience within an FMCG organization.




- Experience with Embedded and/or Decentralized EWM.
- At least 2 full end-to-end SAP implementations involving Warehouse and/or Transportation Management.
- Strong experience in CWM to Embedded EWM migration is highly preferred.
- Hands-on EWM configuration experience covering:
- Warehouse structure
- Goods movement
- RF transactions
- Handling Unit Management
- Physical Inventory

- Strong SAP TM experience covering:

- Freight planning
- Freight execution
- Carrier collaboration
- Freight settlement

- Experience with SAP TMS, CWM, S/4HANA and SAP implementation projects.
- MBA in Supply Chain / Operations from a Tier-1 B-School such as NITIE, IIT Bombay, SP Jain, or equivalent Tier-1 institution.

Preferred Skills
- SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN) for freight collaboration.
- SAP Yard Management and dock scheduling.
- RF/Barcode scanning and Fiori-based warehouse transactions.
- Understanding of India logistics regulations and compliance in an SAP workplace.
- Exposure to SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery frameworks.
