Role: Solution Architect – Data Migration / LIMS

Role Overview

We are looking for a solution architect with strong hands-on data migration experience and expertise in LIMS, particularly SampleManager and LabWare. The role will lead the end-to-end migration approach and execution, with a focus on ETL, data transformation, validation, and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead LIMS data migration initiatives, design and execute ETL/ELT pipelines covering extraction, transformation, mapping, loading, and reconciliation.
- Define source-to-target mappings, migration architecture, and technical specifications.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and exception handling.
- Analyze source/target structures and identify data gaps, quality issues, and transformation requirements.
- Troubleshoot migration issues across ETL and validation cycles and drive resolution.
- Partner with business and functional teams to translate migration requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience





- 7+ years in technical architecture and/or data migration.
- Strong hands-on experience with LIMS, preferably Thermo Fisher SampleManager and LabWare LIMS.
- Proven experience executing multiple ETL/migration cycles, including mock migrations.
- Strong expertise in data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and data quality.
- Experience with complex data structures and large-scale migration programs.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle etc.
- Experience with Python or similar scripting for data transformation/validation.
- Robust troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- ETL/Data Engineering: ETL/ELT frameworks (expertise in SQL, python), migration pipelines, data profiling/cleansing
