Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Lifeguard role based in Kozhikode at The Raviz. The Lifeguard is responsible for monitoring pools and aquatic areas to ensure the safety of all guests, enforcing facility rules, and responding quickly and effectively to emergencies. Daily tasks include supervising swimmers, maintaining vigilant observation, conducting regular safety checks of equipment and pool surroundings, and reporting hazards or incidents.





The role also involves providing courteous guidance to guests on safe swimming practices, supporting cleanliness of pool areas, and collaborating with the broader hospitality team to uphold service standards.

Qualifications

- Solid swimming ability and demonstrated competence in water safety, including rescue techniques and CPR.
- Knowledge of first aid practices and basic life support; relevant certifications or willingness to obtain them.
- Attention to detail and situational awareness to identify risks and act proactively.
- Clear and calm communication skills for directing guests and coordinating with colleagues in routine and emergency situations.
- Ability to remain focused for extended periods, work outdoors, and handle varying weather conditions.
- Prior experience as a lifeguard or in a safety-focused role in hospitality or recreational facilities is an advantage.
- Professional, respectful attitude and commitment to providing inclusive, guest-centered service.
