Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for a Life Insurance Commission Agent at LIC. The agent will identify prospective clients, explain LIC’s life insurance products, and recommend suitable plans based on client needs and financial situations. Daily tasks include meeting clients, conducting needs assessments, preparing policy proposals, and assisting with documentation and policy issuance.

The role involves maintaining ongoing relationships with policyholders, providing post-sales customer service, and supporting renewals and claims processes. The agent is expected to achieve sales targets, participate in training sessions, and stay updated on LIC policies, market trends, and regulatory guidelines.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Sales, with a strong ability to meet targets and build long-term client relationships.

- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance and Finance, with an understanding of life insurance products, basic financial planning, and regulatory requirements.

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, empathy, and responsiveness to client needs.

- Candidates should have good interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex information in a simple, understandable way.

- Basic computer literacy and comfort with digital tools for managing leads, policy information, and communication.

- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma; higher education in commerce, finance, or business is an advantage.

- Prior experience in sales, financial services, or insurance is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn and attend LIC training programs is essential.

- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and operate ethically in compliance with LIC and regulatory standards.
