Saraswati Group of Colleges, Mohali is looking for a qualified and organized Librarian to manage the day-to-day functioning of the Allied Health Sciences library and provide academic resource support to students and faculty.
The selected candidate will be responsible for issuing and returning books, maintaining accurate library records and registers, and arranging and cataloguing newly purchased books. The Librarian will assist students and faculty in locating required books, journals, reference materials, and digital resources.
The role also includes managing library circulation, maintaining the library collection, ensuring proper organization and discipline, and supporting library automation and digital resources.
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science or equivalent.
Experience: 1–3 years preferred. Experience in a medical, nursing, or Allied Health Sciences institution will be preferred.
The candidate should have positive communication, organizational, record-management, and computer skills and ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the library.
