Role Description This is a full time, on-site Liaisoning role based in Guwahati. The liaisoning professional will coordinate between Patil Group, government departments, railways, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth approvals, compliance, and execution of railway track projects. Daily responsibilities include following up on permits and clearances, preparing and submitting documentation, tracking application status, and maintaining accurate records of correspondence and agreements.
The role involves building and sustaining professional relationships with key stakeholders, attending meetings, representing the company’s interests, and providing regular reports to internal teams on progress, risks, and upcoming requirements. The liaisoning professional will work closely with project, legal, and operations teams to resolve issues, anticipate regulatory needs, and support timely project delivery in line with company standards and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with government bodies, railways, and local authorities.
- Experience in documentation, filing, and compliance processes, including handling permits, licenses, and regulatory submissions.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for participating in meetings and representing organizational interests.
- Organizational and time-management skills to track multiple approvals, maintain records, and meet project timelines.
- Working knowledge of railway, infrastructure, or construction industry regulations and procedures is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital tools for reporting, data management, and correspondence.
- Ability to work on-site in Guwahati, travel as required within the region, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in law, public administration, engineering, or business is an advantage.
