Liability Underwriter 2+ Years – General Insurance

We are hiring a Liability Underwriter – 2+ Years for a leading General Insurance company. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Liability Underwriting, Risk Assessment, Policy Structuring, Pricing, Portfolio Management, and Commercial Lines Insurance who can support sound underwriting decisions and portfolio profitability.

Location – Pune

Responsibilities –

1. Assess liability risks across various commercial sectors and make informed underwriting decisions.
2. Structure customized liability insurance solutions covering General Liability, Product Liability, D&O;, and Cyber Liability.
3. Determine premium rates using underwriting guidelines and actuarial inputs.
4. Ensure underwriting practices comply with IRDAI regulations and internal audit standards.
5. Collaborate with brokers, sales, and claims teams on underwriting requirements.

Requirements –

1. Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
2. Minimum 2+ years of experience in Liability Underwriting.
3. Experience with commercial insurance and liability products.
4. Good understanding of regulatory compliance and underwriting documentation.
5. Proficiency in MS Excel and internal systems.
