Job Summary:
We are looking for an Executive – Legal with 2–3 years of experience to handle day-to-day corporate legal, litigation, contract, police and investigation-related matters. The candidate should be willing to coordinate with government authorities, police officials, external advocates and internal business teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Draft, review and maintain agreements, contracts, legal notices, replies, affidavits and other legal documents.
- Handle and coordinate police complaints, police notices, investigations and criminal/civil legal matters.
- Visit police stations, courts, government offices and other authorities as required for company matters.
- Coordinate with police officials, investigating officers, advocates and external legal consultants.
- Assist in matters relating to FIRs,
investigations, notices, statements, document submissions and follow-ups.
- Coordinate litigation matters and maintain case files, legal records and litigation trackers.
- Conduct legal research and assist in preparing legal opinions, replies and reports.
- Review vendor, service, employment, business and commercial agreements.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, Operations and other departments on legal issues.
- Identify and escalate potential legal risks to the Legal Head.
- Maintain confidentiality of company and legal information.
- Travel anywhere in India for company assignments, including police, investigation, litigation and other legal matters, whenever required.
Qualification & Skills :
- LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognised university.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in a law firm, corporate legal department or legal consultancy.
- Good knowledge of Indian laws, litigation procedures and legal drafting.
- Experience in handling police matters, investigations and legal notices will be preferred.
- Solid communication, coordination and negotiation skills.
- Good drafting, research and documentation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Willingness to travel across India as required for company assignments is essential.
