Role & responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Learning & Development Specialist - Analyst II supports the delivery of learning and development programs through training management, learning content development, training logistics, and operational coordination.

This role independently manages defined learning activities and workstreams, coordinates with U.S.-based stakeholders, and ensures assigned deliverables are completed accurately, consistently, and on schedule. The Specialist supports multiple aspects of the learning lifecycle and is expected to use sound judgment to resolve routine issues, identify risks, and recommend improvements.

The role also contributes to the development of standardized processes, documentation, and effective handoffs across the Learning & Development team. Success requires strong organization, attention to detail, stakeholder communication, and the ability to manage multiple assignments with limited day-to-day direction.

Responsibilities:

Learning Operations & Training Management

- Independently coordinate assigned training programs, sessions, and learning activities.
- Manage training schedules, participant communications, materials, rosters, facilitator requirements, and related logistics.
- Maintain accurate program records, trackers, schedules, and documentation.
- Monitor assigned deliverables and proactively identify timing, resource, or coordination risks.
- Resolve routine operational issues and escalate more complex matters when appropriate.
- Support learning administration activities and recurring program-management processes.

Learning Content & Design

- Develop, update, format, and maintain learning materials based on established requirements and standards.
- Support development of presentations, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, and related learning resources.
- Coordinate content reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain version control and organized repositories of learning content.
- Partner with stakeholders to clarify content requirements, intended audiences, timelines, and desired outcomes.




- Apply established learning and design standards to assigned deliverables.

Process Improvement & Documentation

- Follow and help improve standardized workflows, operating procedures, and team handoffs.
- Identify recurring issues, manual steps, or inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.
- Create and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures for assigned activities.
- Support implementation of recent tools, templates, automation, and workflow enhancements.
- Share observations and recommendations that improve consistency, quality, and scalability.

Stakeholder & Team Partnership

- Partner with U.S.-based Talent Management, Leadership Development, and other stakeholders on assigned learning activities.
- Provide timely updates regarding deliverables, status, risks, and dependencies.
- Coordinate effectively with India-based colleagues to ensure smooth handoffs across training management, content, and logistics.
- Build productive relationships across teams, geographies, and time zones.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for defined programs, processes, or areas of responsibility.
- Provide support for special projects and changing business priorities as needed.

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- Typically 4+ years of relevant experience in Learning & Development, training operations, instructional design, program coordination, shared services, or a related area.
- Experience coordinating training programs, learning activities, content development, and/or training logistics.




- Experience managing multiple deliverables and deadlines with limited supervision.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and providing regular status updates.
- Experience with U.S.-based or global teams preferred.
- Global Capability Center or shared-services experience preferred.

- Experience with a Learning Management System.
- Familiarity with instructional design or adult-learning principles.
- Experience with learning-content authoring or development tools.
- Exposure to reporting, dashboards, or learning metrics.
- Process-improvement or workflow-automation experience.
- Healthcare or other highly regulated industry experience.
- Global Capability Center or shared-services experience.
