We are looking for a Lead Engineer with 3-6 years of hands-on experience building and shipping production backend and AI systems.

Responsibilities

- Design, build and maintain backend services in Node.js with TypeScript

- Build data processing and automation components in Python

- Design and document REST APIs, including versioning, authentication and error handling

- Write and maintain unit and integration tests

- Work with relational databases: schema design, query optimisation, migrations

- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions and release planning

- Debug and resolve issues in production environments

- Design and develop AI algorithms for natural language processing, including text classification, sentiment analysis, and entity recognition.

- Conduct research on neural networks and deep learning techniques to improve pattern recognition capabilities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.

- Develop expertise in TensorFlow framework for building scalable machine learning models.





- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in artificial intelligence.

Required skills

- 3-6 years of experience in AI research or development using Python programming language.

- Strong understanding of AI algorithms, particularly in natural language processing (NLP) domain.

- Proficiency in developing complex neural network architectures using TensorFlow or similar frameworks.

- Strong command of TypeScript and Node.js in a production setting

- Working proficiency in Python

- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops and concurrency

- Experience with PostgreSQL or a comparable relational database

- Proficiency with Git and standard branching workflows

- Understanding of software design principles, data structures and algorithms

Positive to have

- NestJS or Express.js, FastAPI or Django

- Docker and container-based deployment

- CI/CD pipelines

- Message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and caching (Redis)

- Experience working in an on-premise or air-gapped deployment environment
