At MADTECH.AI, you'll work on an AI-powered Decision Intelligence platform used by global organizations to turn complex marketing and business data into actionable insights. As a Lead MERN Stack Engineer, you'll own the technical direction of our web platform, guide a team of engineers, and drive the delivery of scalable, secure, high-performance applications and data-rich dashboards.

What You'll Do

Technical Leadership

- Lead the architecture, design, and development of full-stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and Redux.
- Define engineering standards, coding guidelines, and architectural decisions across frontend and backend.
- Mentor engineers at all levels through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
- Own estimation, sprint planning, and delivery from concept to production.
- Evaluate new technologies and make sound build-versus-buy decisions.

Product & Engineering Delivery

- Build intuitive, high-performance, responsive interfaces using Bootstrap, Material UI, and modern UI best practices.
- Lead the integration of interactive dashboards into the platform using iFrame, Embed SDKs, and Compose SDKs.
- Design secure, reusable REST APIs and backend services, including microservices where appropriate.
- Design efficient data models and optimize queries across MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Integrate third-party APIs and data sources.

Quality, Performance & Reliability

- Drive performance, scalability, and security across the stack.
- Establish testing practices with comprehensive unit and integration coverage using Jest.




- Lead root cause analysis of production issues and drive long-term fixes.
- Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Collaboration

- Partner with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Data Engineers, and QA to shape roadmaps and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Communicate trade-offs, risks, and timelines clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills

- 8-10+ years of full-stack development experience, including 2+ years in a technical lead role.
- Expert proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, TypeScript, and Redux .
- Robust experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL , including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Proven experience building scalable RESTful APIs and distributed backend systems.
- Track record of leading architecture discussions and delivering complex projects end to end.
- Deep understanding of performance optimization and web security (OWASP, authentication and authorization).
- Strong experience with Jest for unit and integration testing.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub, including branching strategies and code review workflows.
- Experience mentoring engineers and building a culture of quality and ownership.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- AWS services such as RDS and Redshift.
- Airbyte and Apache Airflow.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
