About the opportunity

Our client, a leading US general contractor, is building a new digital delivery centre in Bengaluru. The team will produce constructable, dimensionally accurate models and drawings that the client's US project and field teams build from.

We're hiring a Lead – Digital Construction to set up and run this delivery for US projects. That means owning quality, standards and turnaround, leading a growing team, and being the person US project teams trust for construction-ready output.

What you'll do

- Lead digital delivery for multiple concurrent US building projects (commercial, healthcare, life sciences, data centers and similar) from coordination through construction and handover.
- Build, lead and mentor a team of BIM/VDC engineers and coordinators: hiring, onboarding, workload planning and performance.
- Own BIM Execution Plans, modelling standards, templates and QA/QC so that every model and drawing set is fabrication- and installation-ready (LOD 350–400).
- Run multi-trade coordination and clash resolution with US project managers, superintendents, trade partners and design teams, including RFIs, submittals and constructability reviews.
- Set up and manage the Common Data Environment (Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360, Procore or similar) in line with ISO 19650 principles.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement (Dynamo, Python, Revit API) and track turnaround, rework and coordination-issue metrics.
- Work across US time zones with stakeholders at every level, from field teams to project leadership.

What you'll bring

- 10+ years in BIM / VDC / digital delivery, with at least 3 years leading a team (please tell us the team size you've led).




- Proven delivery of construction-stage work, meaning coordination models, shop or fabrication drawings, and field-ready deliverables that were built from, not only design-stage documentation.
- Experience working directly with a general contractor, construction manager or trade contractor, ideally on US projects. On-site or field-facing experience is a strong plus.
- Strong command of Revit, Navisworks, and ACC / BIM 360; working knowledge of ISO 19650, BEPs and LOD specifications.
- Excellent written and spoken English and confidence presenting to senior US stakeholders.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.

Nice to have

- International site deputation or in office coordination experience.
- 4D/5D (SYNCHRO, Navisworks TimeLiner, Assemble), scan-to-BIM or reality capture.
- Trade depth in one area (structure, envelope, precast, rebar or interiors) alongside multi-trade coordination.
- PMP, Autodesk certification or similar.

This role is probably not a fit if…

- Your experience is mainly single-discipline modelling (e.g., MEP-only, HVAC, plumbing or fire protection).
- Your work has been design-stage only, with no involvement once construction started.
- You have held a lead title but haven't directly managed people.
