Job Title: Head- Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities-

Infrastructure Development & Maintenance

- Plan, design, supervise, and maintain university infrastructure projects.
- Monitor construction and renovation of academic buildings, administrative blocks, auditoriums, laboratories, hostels, staff Villas, guest houses, cafeterias, parking areas, and other campus facilities.
- Ensure proper maintenance of roads, pathways, boundary walls, drainage systems, sewer lines, and water supply systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of university buildings and infrastructure to identify repair and maintenance requirements. Guest House, Villas & Residential Facility Management
- Supervise civil maintenance work related to university guest houses, faculty residences, and student hostels.
- Ensure timely repair of plumbing, flooring, roofing, painting, and structural works.
- Coordinate renovation and upgradation projects for residential and hospitality facilities. Project Management
- Prepare project estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), technical specifications, and tender documents. Coordinate with contractors, architects, consultants, and vendors for project execution.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Verify contractor bills and maintain project documentation and records.
- Quality & Safety Compliance




- Ensure all civil works comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and building codes.
- Maintain quality control during construction and maintenance activities.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications. Utilities & Campus Support
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and landscaping teams for integrated infrastructure management.
- Support campus development planning and future expansion projects.
- Assist administration during inspections, audits, and accreditation visits. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of drawings, estimates, work orders, maintenance schedules, and project reports.
- Prepare periodic progress reports and submit updates to university management.
- Maintain inventory and usage records of construction and maintenance materials.

Qualifications & Experience- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering (Diploma may also be considered for exceptional candidates).

15+ years of experience in building construction, civil maintenance, and infrastructure project execution.

Experience in universities, educational institutions, hospitals, commercial campuses, or large residential/industrial projects will be preferred. Working Conditions The position may require regular site visits across the university campus. Availability during emergency maintenance.
