Roles and Responsibilities :
- Lead business analysis activities for payment processing projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions using data analysis and transaction processing expertise.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their payment system requirements, providing guidance on Swift payments implementation.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables by managing project timelines, resources, and stakeholders.
Job Requirements :
- 6-13 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Robust understanding of payment processing systems, including SWIFT transactions.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, fintech, or payments organizations
- Strong knowledge of payment ecosystems, payment processing, and transaction flows
- Experience working with payment products such as real-time payments, ACH, wires, SWIFT,
card payments, or digital payments
- Expertise in requirements elicitation, business process modeling, and documentation techniques
- Experience creating user stories, use cases, process maps, and functional specifications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery environments
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
- Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of ISO 20022 payment messaging standards
- Experience with payment modernization or digital transformation programs
- Familiarity with SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within payments environments
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, Agile, Scrum, or Product-related certifications
