Job Title:Lead Auditor

Location:Remote

Employment Type: Full time

Working Days: Monday - Saturday

Working Time :6am est - 3pm est.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Auditor to lead our internal and external audit activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing and reporting audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies, while driving continuous improvement across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Audit Planning & Execution

Develop and implement annual internal audit plans based on risk assessment

Lead QMS audits in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 19011 guidelines

Conduct opening and closing meetings, interviews, document reviews and site inspections

Identify non-conformities, observations and opportunities for improvement

Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare detailed, accurate and timely audit reports with findings and root cause analysis

Present audit findings to senior management and relevant stakeholders

Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of all audit records

Compliance & Follow-up:

Monitor and verify implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

Ensure closure of non-conformities within stipulated timelines

Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and ISO requirements





Leadership & Improvement:

Lead, mentor and supervise a team of internal auditors

Train staff on QMS, compliance and audit requirements

Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance

Support external certification / surveillance audits by certification bodies

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Quality Management or related field

Must be a Certified Lead Auditor - ISO 9001:2015 (IRCA / PECB / Equivalent) - Non-negotiable

Additional certifications in ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 will be an added advantage

Minimum of 4-6 years experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a lead role

Strong knowledge of ISO standards, auditing principles and risk-based auditing

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and audit management tools

Professional membership is a plus.
