Job Purpose To operate and Laser Cutting Machines safely and efficiently, ensuring accurate cutting of materials as per approved drawings, production plans, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Operate CNC Laser Cutting Machine as per production requirements.

· Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and cutting layouts.

· Set machine parameters such as cutting speed, power, gas pressure, and nozzle selection.

· Load and unload MS, SS, and other metal sheets/plates safely.

· Check material thickness, grade, size, and quantity before production.

· Ensure proper nesting and minimum material wastage.

· Monitor machine operation and identify abnormal conditions during cutting.

· Conduct first-piece inspection and verify dimensions as per drawing.

· Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Measuring Tape, and other inspection tools.

· Maintain required production output and cutting accuracy.

· Identify basic machine problems and coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns.

· Maintain daily production, rejection, and machine-related records.

· Keep the machine and surrounding work area clean and organized.

· Follow company safety procedures, PPE requirements,



and 5S practices.

· Ensure proper handling and storage of finished and scrap materials.

· Report quality issues, machine abnormalities, and material shortages to the supervisor.

· Perform any other production-related duties assigned by the management.

Required Skills

· Knowledge of CNC Laser Cutting Machine operation.

· Ability to read engineering/fabrication drawings.

· Basic knowledge of cutting parameters and material grades.

· Knowledge of measurement instruments.

· Positive understanding of workplace safety.

· Ability to identify basic machine and cutting-quality problems.

· Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets.

Qualification

· ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related technical trade preferred.

· Relevant experience in laser cutting/fabrication will also be considered.

Experience

3–5 years of experience as a Laser Machine Operator in fabrication, engineering, or manufacturing industries.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
