Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end land acquisition, land aggregation, leasing, and purchase activities.
- Identify and secure suitable land parcels for renewable energy projects.
- Manage relationships with landowners, local communities, village leaders, and key stakeholders.
- Liaise with Revenue, Survey, Registration, Forest, and District Administration officials for statutory approvals.
- Oversee title verification, due diligence, registration, mutation, and land documentation.
- Resolve Right of Way (RoW), compensation, and land-related disputes.
- Coordinate with Project Development, Engineering, Legal, Environment, and Finance teams to ensure timely land availability.
- Manage consultants, aggregators, survey agencies, and liaison partners.
- Drive land acquisition progress tracking, MIS reporting, and risk mitigation.
- Lead and mentor field teams while ensuring governance and compliance.

Preferred Candidate Profile





- 12-14 years of experience in Land Acquisition within Renewable Energy, Power, Infrastructure, Transmission, or Industrial sectors.
- Strong exposure to Wind, Solar, Hybrid, and/or BESS projects.
- Deep understanding of Karnataka land laws, revenue administration, registration, mutation, and land aggregation processes.
- Proven experience in government liaisoning and stakeholder management.
- Experience leading land acquisition teams for large-scale projects.
- Exposure to Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, or Kerala will be an advantage.

Qualification

- Full time Graduation (Mandatory)
- MBA / PGDM preferred
- Degree in Law, Agriculture, Engineering, Rural Management, or related disciplines will be an added advantage.
