Role Description This full-time, on-site Laboratory Assistant role is based in Dadri and supports the daily operations of the medical laboratory.

The Laboratory

Assistant will assist in preparing specimens, labeling and organizing samples, and performing routine laboratory procedures under supervision. The role includes operating and maintaining basic laboratory equipment, following established protocols, and supporting quality control checks to ensure reliable test results.

Collaboration with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals, along with explicit communication about test statuses and sample handling, is an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills, including handling specimens, following protocols, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with laboratory equipment and basic maintenance of instruments used in routine diagnostic testing.
- Candidates should possess quality control skills to support accurate, consistent results and adherence to laboratory standards and procedures.
- Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret basic data, identify irregularities, and report findings to senior laboratory staff.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with colleagues, documenting procedures, and reporting issues clearly.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, infection control practices, and proper handling of biological samples.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully, manage time efficiently, and work collaboratively in a clinical setting.
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
