Lab Technician

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Lab Technician to support laboratory operations, testing, sample handling, and documentation. The ideal candidate should have positive technical knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow laboratory safety and quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, receive, label, and prepare samples for testing.
- Perform laboratory tests and experiments according to established procedures.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Record test results accurately and maintain laboratory records.
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and other laboratory materials as required.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality-control procedures.
- Identify and report abnormal or inaccurate test results.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene within the laboratory.
- Monitor laboratory supplies and inform the supervisor when stocks need replenishment.
- Assist senior laboratory staff with testing, analysis, and other laboratory activities.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of samples and laboratory waste.




- Support audits and maintain required documentation and compliance records.

Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Previous laboratory experience is preferred, but freshers with relevant qualifications may also be considered.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment, testing procedures, and safety practices.
- Good documentation and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
