Job Summary

Raipur Power & Steel Limited is looking for an experienced and skilled Ferro Lab Incharge to manage laboratory operations, chemical analysis, quality control, and testing activities in our Ferro Alloy manufacturing plant. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of laboratory testing, quality standards, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day laboratory operations and testing activities.
- Conduct chemical analysis of raw materials, finished products, alloys, slag, and other production samples.
- Ensure accurate sampling, testing, analysis, and reporting of results.
- Monitor the quality of Ferro Alloy products as per required specifications.
- Operate and supervise laboratory equipment such as XRF and other analytical instruments.
- Maintain laboratory records, test reports, calibration records, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.




- Supervise and guide laboratory technicians and other lab staff.
- Ensure timely testing and reporting to support production activities.
- Maintain laboratory safety, housekeeping, and equipment maintenance standards.
- Identify quality deviations and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Implement improvements in testing procedures and laboratory efficiency.

Eligibility & Requirements

- B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant qualification.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in a Ferro Alloy, steel manufacturing, or metallurgical laboratory.
- Strong knowledge of chemical analysis, sampling methods, and quality control procedures.
- Experience with XRF and other laboratory testing equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of calibration, laboratory documentation, and quality standards.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
- Ability to work in an industrial plant environment.

Salary & Benefits

- Salary: ₹50,000 per month, negotiable.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
