About the Role

Group Technology and Operations (T&O;) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability, and innovation. In Group T&O;, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire and delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

The role focuses on reviewing, planning, coordinating, and executing manual and hybrid application deployments across production and pre-production environments in line with approved Change Requests (CRs), while ensuring deployment readiness, governance adherence, and post-deployment validation and support.

Responsibilities

- Resolve production incidents in a smooth and timely manner with minimal impact to business.
- Put in controls and checks in place to monitor and smooth the functioning of production systems.
- Investigate and understand the cause of defects raised.
- Stakeholder relationships across all groups within the Bank, ensuring alignment with common objectives and fulfillment of criteria and requirements across the various businesses and units.
- Member of the development/ implementation team (including offshore) working on assigned tasks, projects, and it initiatives.
- Interacts with members and other functional teams, including members of the offshore team.
- Work with team members participating in shadowing and training activities.
- Adhere to information controls and security frameworks/ procedures, including the change and incident management process.




- Provide general administrative support to the team, including meetings, knowledge transfer, and activity reporting.
- You are expected to work extended hours (shifts & weekends) on an as-needed basis.
- Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices.
- Day-to-day delivery and support of key treasury systems/initiatives.
- Work efficiently and prioritize system enhancement/upgrades

Required Skills

- Overall 2 to 5 years of experience in Banking application L1 production support.
- First-hand experience with SQL and Linux.
- Working knowledge in Data technologies like SQL, Hadoop, Apache Spark
- Experience in Apache Airflow/TWS Scheduler.
- Working knowledge in Monitoring tools like ELK, Grafana.
- Superior technical, analytical, and communication capabilities.
- Current on new technology, standards, protocols, and tools in areas relevant to the rapidly changing digital workplace.
- Well-versed in digital technologies, automation, environment support, and key technology/vendor solutions.

Preferred Skills

- Good verbal & written communication skills.
- Candidate will be required to provide support on weekends as well.
- AWS S3 and Maria DB
- Exposure to capital market experience.

Pay range and compensation package

Shift allowance will be paid. Cab Facility will be provided for all shifts covered. Need to be familiar with the demand of a 24x7 support environment, along with a shift allowance (no fixed timing but will be covered in IST).
